Anni Ronkainen appointed Chair of the Board of EWQ Zone Oy
Anni Ronkainen has been appointed as the new Chair of the Board of EWQ Zone Oy. The change of Chair is part of EWQ’s next phase of development and growth, as the company strengthens its Board and brings additional independent perspective and experience to strategic decision-making.
Supporting EWQ’s next phase of growth
Ronkainen has served as a member of EWQ’s Board since late 2024, when Evli Private Capital became the company’s largest shareholder. She has a strong understanding of the company’s business, operating environment and growth ambitions. EWQ’s near-term goal is to grow towards an annual revenue level of EUR 30 million. As the company grows, its leadership and governance structures are also being developed to meet future needs. Appointing a Chair from outside the company’s operational management supports this development.
Ronkainen brings extensive experience in technology, digitalisation, the use of data and analytics, as well as business and leadership development. Her expertise supports EWQ’s ambition to develop its operations with a long-term perspective and strengthen its position in the Nordic region, where the company already has offices in Finland, Sweden and Denmark.
“EWQ has a strong position in the digitalisation of retail and service environments and excellent conditions for continued growth. Stefan Svanljung continues on EWQ’s Board
Stefan Svanljung, who is stepping down as Chair of the Board, will continue as a member of the company’s Board and remain actively involved in its day-to-day operations. The change will allow him to focus even more strongly on developing EWQ’s business and customer solutions.
