A Celebration of People, Partnerships and 30 Years Together

Padel Kicked Off the Celebration

The day began with the second annual EWQ Padel Tournament, bringing together customers, partners and colleagues for a morning of friendly competition. With more than ten groups taking part, the tournament offered a perfect mix of sportsmanship, networking and fun.

This year’s winners were Jaakko Leppänen and Matias Tallgren from HL Display Finland. Congratulations on a well deserved victory!

Celebrating Partnerships, Trust and Shared Success

The celebration continued with speeches from both EWQ leadership and our valued partners. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to HJ Kim from Samsung Display, Gisle Elevebakken from SoluM, Sami Marttinen from Osuuskauppa Suur-Savo and Kia Aejmelaeus from Evli Private Capital for sharing their thoughts on our collaboration and the journey we have built together over the years.

We also heard from EWQ CEO Sampo Brisk, whose speech reflected on the importance of people, trust and long term partnerships, while expressing gratitude for the shared journey that has brought us to this milestone.

Technology Meets Experience

During the celebration, guests experienced firsthand how EWQ solutions can enhance the event experience. At the cocktail bar, our SuperQueue queuing solution made ordering quick and effortless, allowing guests to order EWQ Signature Cocktails with ease.

Even during the busiest moments, the atmosphere remained relaxed and social. While waiting for their drinks, guests connected with colleagues, caught up with friends and enjoyed the impressive flair bartending performances by Vip Bartenders.

The positive feedback received throughout the evening highlighted how a well designed queuing solution can help create a smooth and enjoyable experience, even in a busy event environment.

Supporting an Important Cause

As part of the celebration, a charity auction was organized in support of MIELI Mental Health Finland. Guests had the opportunity to bid on a variety of experiences, gift cards and products, including golf experiences, restaurant gift vouchers, Samsung headphones and an archipelago cruise hosted by EWQ.

Thanks to the auction and donations made during the event, a total of €2,365 was raised for MIELI. The entire amount will be donated to support the organization’s important work in promoting mental health, providing crisis support and strengthening well being across Finland.

90s Classics Brought the Celebration to Life

Music became one of the highlights of the evening as Ilkka Alanko, Kalle Ahola and Sani Aartela brought beloved Finnish hits from the 1990s to the stage. For many guests, the songs brought back memories from decades past, and before long the crowd was singing along.

Sani Aartela’s performance of Keltainen toukokuu sparked a wave of singalongs, but it was Ilkka Alanko’s Popmusiikkia that truly united the entire audience. The familiar anthem lifted the atmosphere to new heights as guests joined in, singing every word.

Throughout the performance, smiles, shared memories and spontaneous singalongs filled the venue. The atmosphere felt like a warm springtime mini festival, where music brought people together and everyone simply enjoyed the moment.

People Made the Evening Unforgettable

After the celebration, we asked our guests on social media to describe the event in a single word. Their responses reflected what the evening was truly about. More than the programme, the competition or the speeches, it was the people who made the event special. The conversations, laughter, shared moments and connections built over the years.
