From Paper to Digital – Cutting Costs and Simplifying Management

Fredrik Boestad, who has been the store owner of ICA Supermarket Format for 27 years, decided to renovate his store and look for solutions to streamline its operations. One of the main goals was to eliminate paper price tags, which increased costs. Among the solutions available on the market, EWQ’s digital price displays proved to be the best.

One important factor was the ability to influence the appearance of the price displays, as large numbers are important to Boestad. Additionally, EWQ’s solution allows for simultaneous price and product changes on both ESL displays and larger Samsung displays, making price management significantly easier.

“When we do price management, it’s much more easier for us, because then the screen and the shelf change when we change prices. Now I spend more time in the store talking to customers and listening to them, and I can do other things with my time,” says Boestad.
